Executive summary

In 2005, there was evidence of increased visibility of the Uganda Women’s Network as a leading body on women’s rights in Uganda. The ability of UWONET to work with government, partners, allies, and donors has been recognized by all stake holders and has resulted concerted efforts to address gender inequalities and advance the position of women in Uganda
