Executive Summary

This Manual is divided into five modules on; understanding gender and leadership, addressing VAW/G, advancing women’s land rights, advocacy, public speaking, presentation skills and effective communication.

Each Module is divided into various topics covered under different sessions and provides the training methods to be adopted, resource and material requirements, evaluation methods and duration. Each session comprises of learning objectives and trainer’s notes for ease of reference. A glossary with key definitions referred to in the text of the Manual is also included.
