Executive Summary

This publication has been developed with support from the GoU– Irish Aid Joint Programme. The booklet was developed to share the programmes’ experiences with running and managing two GBV shelters in Busoga Region.

The booklet provides an overview of the GoU–Irish Aid Joint programme of current magnitude of GBV in Busoga Region. It also documents best practices, approaches and strategies in case management to change the situation. It shares the experience of personnel, running and experinces of providing holistic services to survivors of VAW/GBV.
