The need to develop this material arose out of the realization that many women leaders find challenges in engaging effectively in governance which negatively impacts on their contribution in decision making. The content of the handbook is based on the training needs analysis conducted.

The Pocketbook contains the following modules that have been summarized for quick reference by the women candidates aspiring to take up political positions from Presidential to Parliamentary and Local Council levels in Uganda.
