Baseline Report on Civic and Political Participation of women leaders in Local Council for Democracy and Gender Equality 2014

Report Overview

This is a report of a baseline survey conducted by Uganda Women’s Network (UWONET) with support from Dan Church Aid (DCA). The baseline survey was conducted between the periods of October to December 2013 in the districts of Abim, Amuria, Katatkwi, Napak, Nakaprirpirt and Moroto.

The target population of the survey were political and civic leaders of the district and Option leaders including; District CSO’s, Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), Gender Officer, District Community Development Officer (DCDO), LCV chairperson, District Speakers and District woman councilors
who are elected through popular vote to represent citizens in special women councilor constituencies.
