Executive Summary

This booklet has been developed by women’s rights organizations in Uganda as one of the efforts to strengthen their voice and participation at the 60th CSW.

Civil Society side/ Parallel events have been organized to share information and utilize the CSW as a major international policy advocacy space for Ugandan women’s issues. This booklet highlights some of the parallel events that will discuss critical contemporary issues in Uganda that continue to re–enforce discrimination against women.
