Report Overview
The year 2015 is a particularly significant one for women across the world and in Uganda. In the first place, it marks 20 years after the conclusion of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.
Domestically, the year marks 20 years since the promulgation of the 1995 Constitution of Uganda, and will also witness the start of yet another round of political campaigning that will culminate in general elections in 2016.
